Kristine Lin
Controller
Kristine Lin has worked in the home building industry since 1995, with extensive experience in accounting. Prior to joining Signature Homes in 2007, Kristine worked for Sunstream Homes and Meritage Homes. Kristine specializes in tax and financial reporting and oversees Signature Homes’ accounting operations. Kristine holds a Master of Business Administration from Santa Clara University and a Bachelor of Arts in Business Economics and Accounting from University of California, Santa Barbara.
Kevin Bixler
Vice President of Land Acquisitions
Kevin Bixler serves as Vice President of Land Acquisitions, where he focuses on sourcing, underwriting, and advancing opportunities for residential and mixed-use development. Over the course of his 15-year real estate career, Kevin has managed acquisitions, development, entitlements, and transactions involving a broad range of commercial and residential asset classes. Prior to joining Signature, Kevin held acquisitions roles at Trumark Urban and Trumark Homes, where he helped build a billion-dollar pipeline in the Bay Area and Los Angeles. He is active in both the industry and the community, currently serving on the Board of Directors for the SoMa West Community Benefit District and previously serving on the boards of the Berkeley Real Estate Alumni Association and the Urban Land Institute YLG. Kevin graduated from the Haas School of Business at UC Berkeley.
Scott Jones
Vice President of Land Title
Scott Jones is an experienced professional with over 35 years of experience in the home building industry in Northern California, including the Central Valley and Bay Area. Scott, alongside Signature Homes, believes in building community not just homes. He believes relationships are the foundation of a successful team whose standards are the cornerstone to build the highest quality home. Scott’s disciplined, passionate, and responsible approach to homebuilding builds long-lasting relationships and his hands-on approach contributes to high customer satisfaction. Scott holds a California State Contractors License and is a Construction General Permit Qualified SWPPP Practitioner (QSP).
Juliann Cretsinger
Executive Vice President

At Signature Homes, sales and marketing is about more than just selling homes. It’s about creating community and helping families find and build the home of their dreams. Juliann Cretsinger has been doing just that since she joined Signature Homes in 2007 as a sales associate and quickly established herself as a top-selling agent. She has won numerous industry awards, including a “Volume Award Winner” at the Building Industry Association’s Excellence Awards Show, and was integral in the successful sales and marketing of Signature Homes’ Ruby Hill master-planned community in Pleasanton. As Vice President of Sales and Marketing, Juliann oversees sales associates at all our communities, training and guiding them in the latest sales methods, ensuring that each sale closes effectively. She also makes sure that our sales and marketing staff never lose sight of Signature’s commitment to making the new home buying experience a positive one. In addition, Juliann manages the marketing and advertising for all communities and the overall brand of Signature Homes. Juliann holds a Bachelor of Science in Marketing and a Broker’s License.
Adam Browne
Chief Financial Officer
Adam Browne has worked in the real estate industry since 2007, with experience across single-family, multi-family, and commercial sectors. As Chief Financial Officer of Signature Homes, Adam oversees accounting, finance, tax, and property management. He specializes in leadership, personnel instruction, and the development of tools to aid management evaluate business decisions in a quick and accurate manner. Throughout his career, Adam has assisted in sourcing and closing over $1 billion of debt and equity placements. Prior to joining Signature Homes, Adam served as Director of Finance with Trumark Homes. Adam is a graduate of California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance and minor in Economics. Adam lives with his wife and two young children in Livermore, where they enjoy spending time outdoors and being active in their community.
Jim Ghielmetti

Jim Ghielmetti founded Signature Homes in 1983 and currently serves as Chief Executive Officer. With over 50 years of experience building homes in the Bay Area, Jim is the guiding force that has led Signature to focus on creating quality single-family homes in exceptionally livable suburban communities. Over the years, he has watched housing styles change, and has often been on the forefront of those changes – including using greener materials, sourcing products and materials more locally, and building more energy-efficient homes. As the son of a carpenter, Jim grew up in the building business, and he knows that reputation is important. His longtime commitment to design, quality construction, and customer service sets Signature Homes apart, and has earned this small, locally owned company a reputation he is proud of.
