Autumn is in the air and with this change in weather comes every pumpkin-flavored food, drink, and treat you can imagine. The entire Signature Homes team has a favorite fall go-to whether it’s a pumpkin latte or piping hot pumpkin donuts rolled in cinnamon and sugar. Pumpkins are great in both savory and sweet dishes, which explains the mania during these months. We’ve picked a few recipes that are easy to prepare and will give you a chance to enjoy all season long.
Halloween Pumpkin Punch: What better way to entertain your guests than with a spooky pumpkin punch made with spiced rum and pumpkin puree? Served, naturally, out of a creepy giant steaming pumpkin.
Pumpkin Cheesecake Skillet Blondie: This sweet treat is a trifecta of flavors all in one decadent dessert, a first-class ticket to pumpkin heaven. The flavor and texture is similar to a pumpkin pie, in a bar form.
Pumpkin Pie Seeds: Try this new spin on an old favorite. Rinse 2 cups pumpkin seeds, and add 2 tbs melted butter, 6 tsp sugar, 1 tsp cinnamon, ½ tsp nutmeg, ⅛ tsp cloves and stir. Spread flat on a baking sheet and roast at 375 degrees for 10 minutes, stir and roast 10 more minutes or until golden brown.
Pumpkin Coconut Curry: A warm bowl of curry on a cool fall evening is the perfect way to add comfort to home, and this recipe is simply delightful!
Baked Pumpkin Donut Holes: These mini muffin-like donut holes are soft with a warm pumpkin spice flavor. Bake these little treats for 10 minutes, then dip them in melted butter and roll them in cinnamon and sugar to coat. Super easy and perfect for fall breakfast or snacks!
Icebox Pumpkin-Mousse Pie: This creamy fall favorite is easy and delicious with a chocolate wafer and brown sugar crust topped with heavy cream and sugar mixture. Yum.
